PUNCAK - The Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, have once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to supporting the local community. On Friday, January 24, 2025, during a routine security patrol, the 323 Task Forces from the Kodim Persiapan/Preparatory Territorial Command Headquarters (Koper) Post, led by First Lieutenant Anggun, carried out a meaningful initiative known as “ROSITA” (Buy Up Farming Products). This program involved purchasing agricultural products from the residents of Jenggerpaga Village in the Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Papua Tengah Province.
Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno, Commander of the 323 Task Forces, emphasized that prioritizing the well-being of the people in their assigned areas is integral to their mission. Following his guidance, the Soldiers utilized their patrol duty to assist the residents' economy by purchasing and consuming their farming products.
The ROSITA program became a moment of connection and compassion as the Soldiers went beyond their security duties. Using their personal funds, they bought farming products to support the local economy, showing genuine care for the residents’ livelihoods. Their selfless act brought joy and hope to the sellers. Mama Arta Wonda, one of the local farmers, expressed her happiness, saying, "Thank you, Commander 323. God bless." Her heartfelt gratitude reflected the positive impact of the initiative on the community.
Major General Lucky Avianto, the HABEMA Commanding General, lauded the efforts of the 323 Task Forces in fostering the local economy. He stated, "The 323 Task Forces' initiative to buy farming products from the residents of Jenggerpaga Village is a clear testament to TNI’s commitment to supporting the people’s economy as part of the broader effort to accelerate development in Papua."
